Good value for low budget travelers, I feel comfortable in my double room facing interior coutyard. Walking distance to train station, downtown, beach
The location was great and the room was good for what i needed.
Tea and coffee-making provisions and general kitchen provisions (fridge, cutlery, crockery, microwave, kettle, chairs, and tables) were good . Heating in the room was good enough for mid-winter. Handy 24-hour garage shop opposite and free on-street parking after 5.30pm.
Very comfortable bed. Lady manager was nice and everything was clean. No key needed, just a PIN code which was handy.
The little room off the kitchen is really nice. Their patience with us was great. We came on the ferry from Calais that was late getting into Dover and the hostel’s door takes a code they give you as well as a coded door receptacle to get in your room. With these codes you don’t need to see the staff, if you come after hours.
