Great location and nice property. However the best part of our stay was Kyle, who both checked us in and was tending bar. Kyle gave us great suggestions for the next leg of our journey and ended up saving us a ton of time and hassle. All around nice guy.

Just about everything. Warm welcome, comfortable bed, amazing shower, beautiful property (though a little worn in places).

Wonderful location and lovely staff. Easy access to the downtown area and train station. We arrived too early to check in to our room but, fortunately, we had an exceptionally kind, and helpful young, lady who offered to keep our luggage, at no charge, until we could check in. This gave us the opportunity to see the sites, luggage free, and check in at a later time. When the time came to officially check in she was once again very welcoming and personable. The same was true when we checked out. I regret that I don’t remember her name! She represented the hotel with a welcoming attitude and professionalism. More importantly, she personified the Scottish people with a spirit of kindness, caring and warmth.

Breakfast options were limited but I found what I liked. Buffet was average. Hotel Bar was great! Good wine selection, but no food options. It also serves as the hotel reception. The room was unique but windows did not open to let in fresh air. Bathroom was adequate. Hot was was great!
