Owner was very nice. Helpful. It was a brief stay, but very pleasant stay.

Great place to stay for a visit to Glastonbury. Less than 5 minute walk to bust stop, then 10 minutes on bus to Glastonbury town center. Quiet neighborhood and home for a restful nights sleep. Super comfortable bed and linens. The en suite bathroom was great, shower pressure/temp great, host provided toiletries and there’s even a towel warmer. Kettle along with coffee and tea in the room was very nice. Shared kitchen was well equipped, had everything available to prepare continental breakfast including a variety of coffee, teas, juices and milk (including non dairy options). Host Jo even went out and bought cherries after she heard our daughter say they were her favorite! Jo and Richard were super helpful, friendly and gracious hosts who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Beyond being hosts, they became our friends. It was sad to leave!

Really great welcome from Jo, checked us in really quickly, and early, and we were able to get off to our friend's birthday party. We came back late but quietly, and easily accessed the house and our room. The bed was really comfy and the ensuite though small, has everything you need. Breakfast is a help/make yourself job, but that suited us. We had cereal and toast with jam and cheese and fruit. There was also ham available and every type of plant milk and semi-skimmed cow's milk, as well as 3 choices of butter/spread and a variety of jams, and eggs. Oh and croissants and pain au chocolat. We didn't see Jo after she gave us our room keys, it's self checkout. We will certainly be returning to Hygge, it's very convenient for Clark's Village and the high street, highly recommended!

Joe was an amazing host. As soon as I arrived she welcomed me into the house, took my bicycle away for safe storage and even gave me dinner. Joe certainly went above and beyond. I was looking forward to a salad or vegetables after a number of days of pub food, but the supermarkets were closed when I arrived on Sunday evening. Joe disappeared for a moment and reappeared with a delicious plate of roasted vegetables. Just what I’d been craving. My room was really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Since my bathroom was across the hallway, there was a bath robe a pair of slippers provided. Nice touches. It was great to have access to the kitchen and the sitting room. In the morning Joe left out eggs, bread for toast, cereals and a selection of marmalade and jams. I really enjoyed my stay and felt welcomed and at home.

The house was lovely, Breakfast facilities were great. Netflix was available too!! Jo the host was super friendly, made us feel at home . Would definitely recommend and we will return one day I'm sure. X
