It really was an English pub with rooms behind it. The decor in the pub and room were fantastic. The food in the pub was good.
Old world charm with modern amenities. Great location . Close to the War museum

Charming, quaint English village. The BarleyCorn had all modern amenities with updated bathrooms in a pub/bed and breakfast which is over 400 years old! You got a real sense of living in an English Village.
The Innkeeper and Owner-Andrew was charming and provided great recommendations for visiting the sites in the village. Pub food for dinner was good and wine selections and beer were also good! If you are going to Imperial War Museum at Duxford -I recommend a stay here, closer than Cambridge and not crowded at all. Chance to experience English Country life of a by-gone era.
The Manager and Staff along with the service were outstanding, super friendly and always happy to help to offer travel/sightseeing advice. the meals were excellent quality though a little more choice would have been nice. The location was really quiet and peaceful.
