The staff and the location! We could not beat the location, so close to all the sites and easy walking for The Shambles. Our rooms were the ones in the back of the property and they were perfect!
Unique, calm and lovely. The restaurant is really good. Breakfast was delicious and the room was pleasant and comfortable if a little dark as the window faces a courtyard restaurant. I stayed in one of the rooms on the upper floors before and they are much better.
Beautiful character hotel, quirky pieces, nice touches such as g and t in room and flask of fresh milk. Nothing was too much trouble. Aga and staff were fantastic, so welcoming and friendly.
Perfect location, warm friendly staff. The winter tipee was amazing and cosy to sit relax and watch the world go by . Breakfast food was lovely .
The house is amazing- feels like a scene from the Christmas Carol. Rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a treat. Close to everything
