Robbie the owner/landlord was very friendly & welcoming as were all of the staff plus all of the locals in the bar! I was told I could park my motorbike right around the back so it would be more secure. The food was excellent. I had a delicious sirloin steak in the restaurant and a cooked breakfast the following morning. The room was modern, clean with a comfortable bed & good shower.
Breakfast was muesli with lots of fresh fruit. Coffee was excellent.
The room was well appointed . We stayed in Room 4 that had a well equipped and well appointed kitchen
No expense had been spared in the construction of these rooms
The bathroom was spacious and beautiful
We experienced slight problems with the location of the lavatory ( under the sloping roof of the eaves, which could be contributed to our age!)
The linen , accessories etc had been well chosen to reflect the location- the host was obviously proud of the Welsh heritage
Will definitely return . Thank you for an enjoyable stay
Staff lovely nice and clean lovely white sheets tip top.
Modern, clean and large room with great use of slate to provide a local feeling. The view of the hill from our room was lovely
