The breakfast was personalized, huge, and amazing. The host is so friendly and accomodating; he clearly loves doing this, and the location was quiet, but close enough to the restaurants and sites (and amazing bookstore) to walk.

We were visiting Buxton in order to attend a show at the Opera House and booked to stay for one night at Kingscroft. We found the property was meticulously clean and very homely. The hosts were very personable and more than happy to help with advice about the area.

The breakfast was pre-ordered from a comprehensive menu and the food was absolutely delicious and served in very generous portions. The warm summer fruits crumble with yogurt was unexpected but beyond delicious.

My wife and I have already decided that we will return to Kingscroft the next time we return to the area.

Very comfortable room and beds in a great location! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It is obvious they love hosting and think of all the details to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful with large portions!

Our stay at Kingscroft was truly exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by Wol, and he was extremely attentive throughout. Our room was beautiful, just as you see in the photos. There were so many lovely touches, fresh fruit and plenty of bottled water. The bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. Vicky's breakfast was incredible, the choice was unlike anything we've seen before! It's all pre-ordered and the portions are very generous. The location was great too, just a few minutes to walk to the restaurants, shops and Pavillion Gardens. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone headed to the Buxton area. Thank you Wol and Vicky for a fantastic stay.

Breakfast was excellent and we had a really comfortable stay. The host went out of his way to provide us with a shower mat as we felt unsafe in the shower.
