Close to shops, food outlets and they did a lovely carvery Thursday night when I was there 😋 room and bathroom were good and clean, the shower was excellent though the hot water was a little tricky to get just right.
It was exactly what a grade ll listed building should be. Beds were great. Service excelente and very friendly. Great bar!
We had a cosy room. Excellent breakfast. A character hotel.

Comfortable little room in the courtyard of the pub ,good value for £50 for the night .Ensuite ,complimentary toiletries ,tea and coffee making facilities in room .
Parking in free village carpark at back of pub .
Fine for solo traveller for one night .
