It was a perfect location for my family home as we were travelling from Nottingham for a funeral in Bedlington
The location!
Two great pubs just up the road (The Sun & The Northumberland Arms), and other pubs & clubs (CIU). Lots of places to eat. Good selection of food shops too. Great, expensive but worth it, bakery just round the corner, Glentons. All within a 5 minute walking distance. The old town is only a 10-15 minute walk away also. With more nice pubs, clubs, eateries & shops. Propper old town, with a land time forgot about feel to it, with great, friendly people.
Great place to explore the North East & Northumbrian coast and countryside from. Loads of old historic towns and villages, great coast & beaches. Scotland less than an hour up the road. Newcastle city 15-20 minutes down the road.
Lovely, very clean & well presented property. With everything you need provided, laundry facilities, towels, kitchen etc...
everything, we'd stayed there before and knew it was going to be the same the next time. we were very happy with our stay.
