Amanda and Robert were excellent hosts. They provided tips for exploring the area and the bar, with Robert serving, stayed open late. Bicycle rental at Katrine Wheelz to bike along Loch Katrine is highly recommended. It’s very hilly in parts so e-bike is recommended.
The full Scottish breakfast was excellent and it really helped to kickstart a few wonderful days. As ever, Robert and Amanda were fantastic hosts, as they have remained for the last twenty years or so!
This property dose not deserve a 2 star. A gem Great location, great family operators lol The double rooms a great Hot water and very clean Food great. I will recommend it to anyone who asks for a place to stay. I will be back
This is a great place to stay. It overlooks Loch Earn, which is not as famous as the other Lochs, and so was more preferable for me. The hotel and room were clean and the room was spacious. The hostess, Amanda, was very accommodating and approachable.
Very comfortable, immaculately clean. Nothing too much trouble and food excellent.
