Mary's Court (Mairlys) Guest House is located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and offers free Wi-Fi, off-road parking and views of the surrounding area. Each room includes an en-suite shower room and a flat-screen TV. A hairdryer, complementary toiletries and a hospitality tray are also included. At breakfast, guests can choose from a full cooked option or a continental buffet. Fresh, local produce is used wherever possible, and special dietary needs can be catered for with advance notice. Mount Snowdon is 16 miles from the property and Bodnant Garden is a 20-minute drive away. The seaside resort of Llandudno is 19.8 miles from the property and is home to the Great Orme Tramway, Venue Cymru and a variety of shops. Additionally, Conwy is 16 miles from the property.

My room at Mairlys was beautifully decorated and furnished, and the sitting room was equally tasteful, with a very relaxing ambience. I loved the contemporary Welsh art collection, and Chris and David were delightful and thoughtful hosts, with many helpful suggestions as to what I could do and see, especially given a change of plans due to a course I had booked being cancelled. Mairlys was well located, only a couple of minutes away from the centre of Betws y Coed, which is a bustling little place close to various attractions and, of course, some wonderful walks. I particularly appreciated the fact that there was a reduced rate for single travellers using the small double room.
The facility, common areas, grounds, location, and room were perfect! Chris & David are obviously serious and proud of their place, and it shows in the landscape, building, rooms, and decorations. On top of that, they were personally wonderful, and made us feel properly cared for guests. The rooms are cozy, but not grand. Which works well for a couple. The shower was very modern, and had wonderful pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, and from 8-9 each morning. They did offer to prepare some small takeaway if you needed to depart earlier than that.
David and Chris were exceptional hosts. Friendly, accommodating, helpful and genuine lovely people.

Wonderful location and wonderful hosts, who absolutely couldn't do enough for you. The interior decor is amazing with modernist paintings on every wall. The room was extremely clean, and the breakfast very well-cooked and plentiful. The location is central to all the town's amenities, shops and restaurants, so very easy to just park and wander.
