Our room was spotless and comfortable, the staff were all very friendly, the location was nice with walking trails along the river, breakfast was very good.

Beautiful grounds and all rooms were well presented.
Stephen at the front was welcoming, helpful, and has a great sense of humor. The staff was excellent and the meals and tea lovely in an old fashion genteel way. Our room, The Meavy, was a bit old and tired but the bathroom was very modern, squeaky clean, with a great soaking tub.
