I loved the location! I walked everywhere- The Old Course, then beach, St Andrew’s Castle and Cathedral, shopping. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was large and beautiful.

The breakfast was a little pricey for what I had but it was prepared nicely. French toast could be thicker for the price.
Raj was very attentive and nice
I liked everything. Good value for money. Spotlessly clean. Lovely manager in Raj. Breakfast yummy. Location perfect.
My stay at the Montague Guest House was truly wonderful! The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the town center, and only footsteps from the sea. It’s a good spot for a solo traveler, safe, peaceful, and very welcoming.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but everything else was smooth and well taken care of.
Many thanks to Raj for his kindness and help in arranging a taxi back to the train station, it was truly appreciated. I’d gladly stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St Andrews.
