Swimming Pool and Staff was good
Location is a bit isolated.
Bedding was fresh
Front of house was nice

The bathroom floor was really odd type of mesh flooring but it smelt like old towels - didn't seem to be waterproof so water was absorbing into it
The room was fine, a little dated but effort had been made to modernise it
The beds weren't the most comfortable but bedding seemed fresh and clean
The swimming pool closed earlier than it says on the website so that was one of the main reasons we were paying extra to stay there, also the spa said they would call me back to let me know if we could swim in the morning with out little 2 year old ( there is only a 2 hour window for kids swim in the evening) so they said it was a possibility but noone called back
Also our car fuel cap was open in thr AM, as we're about 6 other cars around us, as if someone had tried to take petrol - ours is protected by the locking system but the cap was forced open - we let the hotel know and they did come out to look and said they would check cctv
Location is great, lady on reception gave a lovely warm welcome on arrival.
- possibly not completely hotels fault but spa was shut the entire time we were at hotel due to a incident, disappointing when you book a spa hotel !
- rooms are really hot windows wouldn’t stay open with out propping them with something, curtains cheap quality not really big enough fir windows so allowed alt of light in. Did have fan in room but just circulated the hot air about.
Requested a thin sheet for the bed but never received one.
Breakfast itself was nice and really good quality and a good selection of food, but what was a big let down was not been able to have a decaf coffee when they have it in the rooms, I did ask for one but was told no ! I can’t have caffeine for medical reasons and there aren’t many places now that don’t offer it.
- the outside seating area near bar was a no go due to terrible wasp problem again possibly not hotel fault but maybe better table clearing so waste food and drink wasn’t sat about on tables long periods attracting them and a few wasp traps and citronella candles about would help reduce the problem slightly as in it’s nice to sit out in the nice weather.
