Beautiful decor, loved having the record player in our room, stunning bathroom. A really luxurious feel. Margate was a great town to explore and there were so many great bars and restaurants. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel or use the spa but would definitely come back and try it.

No. 42 is a fantastic guest house. Aesthetically beautiful with plenty of little touches in the rooms (including the pantry with treats and soft drinks available for everyone!) The breakfast was lovely - we were fortunate with the weather to be able to sit on the balcony and also made it to the rooftop bar!
The view from our room was excellent with direct views of the seafront.
loved the view of an evening from the dining room terrace and the food was excellent. It really noticeable how all the staff helpful , welcoming and had a sense of pride in doing a good job .
