Property as described, a great studio with fabulous views. It was great to be able to lie in bed looking at the stars on the clear nights and watching the sun rising in the morning.
Lovely and quiet, great walking all around especially straight from the property. We dined in the Black Bull at Nateby as a lunchtime break from our walk, and can highly recommend eating here. We had a drink in the Taggy Man pub in Kirkby Stephen in the evening and again, highly recommend. It has a good selection of beers, and just a few minutes walk from the property.
Perfect place to hole up for a few days - very cosy and had everything I needed. Great views from bed and the chairs outside, and close to lovely paths for walking. There was a fire stick with the TV and everything I needed to cook. The bed was very comfy and it has a nice shower too. I had no issues coming without a car - I came by train & got a taxi to/from the station, and then from the cottage it's a 10 min walk to pubs/cafes/shops and public footpaths for nice walks. Check-in was straightforward and communication really helpful :).
We really enjoyed our stay in the studio with its stunning views. The studio is cozy, pretty and has all you need. The host is helpful and friendly. Excellent location to walk to the Nine Standards or visit lunchrooms and pubs in Kirkby Stephen.
