Fantastic historical building with a very friendly host that will immerse you in the history of the property. Be sure to ask about King John and Robin hood! The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Prepared and served with perfection. The house is located in a quiet rural area just outside Bristol, but very close to main traffic arteries. So ideal placed if you are travelling through or on a road trip such as we did. I highly recommend this if you are interested in history and want a break from busy city center stays.

The history, comfort, bed, claw foot bath,, breakfast, and the host. Everything was fabulous! We especially appreciated the host sharing some of the history of the house.
