Amazing building and location, very friendly staff
We only had an overnight unfortunately. Its a secluded spot, but the grounds are beautiful with lovely short walks. we loved the building, the decor and the staff. Wonderful people, lively conversation and great knowledge of the area.
Beautiful period property in amazing grounds, with lovely rooms and exceptional food.
Overwater hall is in a very quiet location surrounded by countryside, but within easy reach of local attractions. The hall is very traditional and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, enjoyed watching the red squirrels and birds with a drink on the lawn.
The food was excellent, the menu varied and all dishes beautifully presented.
The staff were very friendly and offered a traditional service. They made our dog very welcome and were happy for us to eat with our dog in the bar.
Everything was just perfect, location, hosts nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was fabulous.
