We have stayed at Port lympne mansion four times now. Each time we have had different rooms and all of them were outstanding. How many hotels have a fabulous zoo on the door step, acres of stately gardens to wander around, and a golf buggy to use, all for no extra cost . Probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had and it is waiter service and freshly cooked to your own wishes . This was also included in the price of the stay.
There are several on-site restaurants, bars and cafes.
Initially the room may seem a little pricey, but when you think about how much you get for it , there is a lot of value .
Fabulous place to stay. How many 5 star hotels have a free zoo and buggy to get around.
We booked a treat as have two birthdays in December. My husband, me and my son stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the reserve.
Customer service was really good and the room we had was just lovely, very clean and the most amazing bath that you could lie down in - a bonus for tall people!
We had breakfast included as part of our package and it was delicious.
As part of the stay, we had entry to the reserve on the day of check in and also on the day of check out - you could choose Howlett's if you wanted instead - the use of a golf buggy during our stay and an included safari ride.
We took advantage of the black Friday deal and got up close and personal to a rather gorgeous rhino - the keeper was so knowledgeable and friendly and clearly enjoyed his interaction with the animals.
All in all an amazing experience and we would love to go back.
Thank you also to the hotel for recognising our two birthdays and putting birthday cards in our room - a very nice touch!
Amazing place, service is excellent - love being able to drive around in the buggy. Main hose was gorgeous!! Honeymoon suite was in still the original owners design and original art and bathroom - pretty cool
