Attention to detail in the themed room. Comfortable, roomy and exceptionally clean.
Location was excellent.
Breakfast was lovely, especially the home made marmalade and strawberry compote, and delivered on time .

Lovely peaceful place, easy to locate, and not far from bars and restaurants down the road from the Windermere Lake front to get on a boat trip
We are Aussies travelling around the UK and Puddle Duck Lodge has been one of the best places to stay so far. It’s a lovely house set in a gorgeous garden and within walking distance to the town and lake. Every room has been tastefully decorated in Beatrix Potter theme which is beautiful. There are tea and coffee making facilities in your room including some nice biscuits and mint chocolates. The breakfast hamper is delivered to your door, giving you the comfort of eating in your room. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and we loved our stay.
