Room was warm and comfortable and every thing I

wanted for just two night stop overs, (tele, shower and tea making)

Very spacious. Bed was a large, very comfortable four poster. Bathroom large though a tad dated. The room was well appointed and warm. Building was interesting.

Despite a few poor reviews about this place I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Yes it's dated but it is on the middle of a refurbishment from the new owners hence why there had been a few hiccups.

I stayed in the master suite with four poster and it was lovely and spacious with a big bathroom.

The staff are really friendly and on hand to help.

The clientele are down to earth characters and so friendly & welcoming... Real salt of the earth village folk.

I had an amazing time..

Food isn't available there ATM but Midsomer Norton is only a few miles away and there's aWetherspoons , a Thai and Indian restaurant.. Probably more. Plus a pub with live entertainment.

For the money.. The place is great... Don't listen to the reviews

Room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Can't comment on breakfast, as I don't take breakfast in hotels.

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good coffee and breakfast choices.
