The location, bedroom and all the staff and the breakfast

The Gwesty Richmond Hotel is just fronting the promenade with an inviting walk along the entire beach front. Ease of car parking. The room at the higher floor has a glorious view of the sea and the crashing waves on the beach down below. It comes with a comfortable bed, and a very spacious bathroom. The reception counter was very engaging, polite and helpful.

Great location, nice view of ocean, better staff! Food was excellent! Lamb shank was superb! Even had PARKING!

Good location. Comfortable hotel on the promenade. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Bed was large and very comfortable, room was a good size with tea/coffee making facilities, with a good ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was varied - a buffet or cooked. Dinner was plain but well cooked.

We were allocated a room at the front of the property so we had a lovely sea-view. The window was a bay which gave us a wide view of the entire bay. Within the bay there was a small table with chairs to either side, so we could relax - people watching or reading. We'd also been pleased to have arrived in time to find a parking space at the hotel. They had indicated beforehand that we might not get one, however when we were there we were happy to be told that the spaces were usually sufficient for the number of guests. All staff whether on reception, in the bar or the restaurant, cleaning the rooms were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the area.
