We stayed just one night at the wonderful Riviera Town House, and it felt like stepping back into the era of young Queen Elizabeth! Although the building itself is old, this only adds to its authenticity and elegance. From our room, we enjoyed breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the seaside, with all amenities within walking distance of the hotel.
We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the room, with genuinely fresh bedding and towels (thankfully without any unwanted marks), a well-stocked tea tray, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival.

Great breakfast in lovely laid out room with stairs down to it. Decor overall was nice and in good order. Very comfortable. Location was good and next to other hotels and the town centre.
The Riviera is absolutely charming - a true old-fashioned genteel guesthouse. Spotlessly clean, fantastically comfortable bed, great view across to the Grand Hotel from the front, and brilliant location for discovering Scarborough. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, with proper waitress service for breakfast which was super. Lovely place, highly recommended.
