The bed was really comfortable. Hard to get up each morning,! Gorgeous views from every window. Beautiful sunsets. The apartment we stayed is was very clean, well decorated and had nice little touches here and there. Very well equipped for everything you might need..

Everything was amazing, location, apartment etc. we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! the staff were lovely and friendly; the apartment was clean to an amazing standard, the decor was modern-light and airy. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

The accommodation was perfect; plenty of room, nicely decorated, modern, clean and tidy. We stayed at The Retreat during storm Darragh which brought a red weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain. The warnings were right! Although it was terrible outside, we felt warm and safe inside. Unfortunately there were a couple of power cuts (which affected much of North Devon) but not much of an issue as we snuggled up with the cozy blankets/duvets and played games. We also had a gas hob so we could still cook and boil water. The manager had very wisely asked his staff to stay home to keep safe during the storm. He single handedly coped with everything. Nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back again soon.
