In the peaceful New Town district, there is a hotel elevator with access to all floors. The Royal Scots Club has individually designed, traditional rooms with toiletries and plenty of facilities, and some have views of the rooftops to Fife. The Club has a quiet yet friendly atmosphere, a bar and a smart dining room overlooking Queen Street Gardens. Local restaurants and bars are a 5-minute walk away. The Scottish National Portrait Gallery and National Gallery of Modern Art are both just a 10-minute walk away. Shops at the St. James Centre are half a mile away.

Clean. Comfortable. Large room. Nice amenities. Great location.
100 yrs old club. Family room was big and well equipped - very clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood 10 mins from Waverly main train station. Around 20 mins walk to Castle and Royal Mile. Reception staff are very helpful. We didn't try the breakfast/food.
This was our second visit. Great breakfast and location is central without being on a busy road.
We had a four-poster bedroom with a charming view overlooking the park. The bed was extremely comfortable. The chairs in the little sitting area gave us a place to prepare for the day as well as recuperate in the evening. The clawfoot tub was deep, the shower offered multiple options and the towel warmer was lovely. There were robes and slippers as well. The staff was attentive, the breakfast delicious and convenient and the location was near several restaurants and a bus line to the city center. Overall fantastic.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was very convenient, we were able to walk to bars, restaurants and to the main attractions. The staff was kind and helpful. The price was also perfect for us.
