The hotel was perfectly located for me. It was walkable from the Tywyn train station and to the Talyllyn Railway Wharf Station. The bed was comfortable and the room was the perfect size.

It felt like home from home. Would definitely recommend staying here. Clean and comfortable, with a spacious kitchen and dining area.

Dining area was bright and sunny with plenty of room for all. Kitchen was clean and had ample storage. Rooms (which happened to be same ones we stayed in in 2019!) were cleaned, well maintained, and had nice windows. Location was close to restaurants (recommend Salt Marsh Cafe, the Retreat Bar & Cafe, Cegin Fach) Perfect location for us - we came to visit heritage railways (Talyllyn, Vale of Rheidol, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland), visit castle ruins (Harlech), and hang out at the beach! Had time for a movie as well at the Magic Lantern. Tywyn is a great location, with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go by way of trains for Wales! We will be back!
