It was absolutely fantastic and it was very quiet and peaceful. Hopefully we will be visiting again soon.
We had the most enchanting anniversary weekend at Old Ford Cottage in Wells, near Glastonbury! Michelle and Roger, the wonderful hosts, truly made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. The cottage is full of thoughtful touches, like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, and even little flowers outside. We stayed in a cozy shepherd's hut that's over 300 years old, full of charm and character. The place was wonderfully warm and cozy, and the lovely jacuzzi was a highlight! We also enjoyed a little fire pit outside, and they even provided enough wood for it. Plus, the beautiful river nearby added a magical touch. They were incredibly accommodating, even welcoming our dogs, and the free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. We can't recommend this place enough—truly a brilliant experience! Love TJ and R
The location, the friendly hosts and the shepherd hut was adorable
The hut and the outside area was lovely for relaxing. Everything we could need was provided. The hosts were super helpful. Great location to drive to. Close to the city for driving.
Despite out late arrival the host met us and welcomed us to the Shepards Hut. Having been shown how to use the hot tub and the facilities in the hut the keys were handed over to us.
