Good location for seeing places nearby. Generally quiet and relaxing. Lodge was fairly well equipped with everything you needed. The golf course cafe was good for breakfast. Hot tub was a great addition.
Modern , comfortable accommodation , the kitchen had everything needed and was well stocked with cups, plates and utensils. Even a welcome pack with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cleaning cloths.
Nice touches such as toiletries, bath robes and slippers and sleep masks and earplugs.
The golf club has a nice bar, that offers breakfasts and snacks and the staff are friendly and attentive.
We used the driving range twice which we loved.
Hot tub was nice to use after a day of exploring the area.
Very picturesque setting, and the lodge is wonderful. Really lovely touch to have the welcome pack and bottle of Prosecco left for us on arrival.
The only downside is that it is close to a busy road, the noise from the traffic was quite loud.
