Very quiet location. Lodge cooking facilities are basic but all was clean and in very good order. Great shower and comfy bed. Very spacious.
Although lodge is non smoking they appear to be used by contractors so on the first night mid week when we arrived there was smoking happening outside next door which was not pleasant, however it was a minor issue and only noticed as a non smoker.
Short walk to a range of great restaurants and a nice pub.
It was handy location, had all basic facilities. Staff were helpful and responded quickly when we had a problem. After a recent renovation the chest of drawers were VERY dusty inside, which got all over my son’s clothes the day before his work experience. Luckily it dusted off and the staff reacted quickly to remedy the situation. It was a comfy place, I could work there all day easily with stable WiFi. Clean bathroom, nice show, lots of hot water. Great value for money.

Hob, microwave, kettle, fridge tea, coffee,sugar provided.Grocery stores, and a few pubs/restaurants within 10 min walking.dusrance. Huge park just opposite the complex, with kiids play area.
