It's a charming hotel with very clean and beautifully decorated rooms.
really enjoyed our stay, and not disappointed on the level of service and relaxing ambience. We were pleasantly surprised by a free room upgrade which really added to our overall experience. Loved the spa and swimming pool, godo breakfast and a later check out. Will plan a return stay soon!
We've stayed at this hotel before as it is one of our favourites. We all agreed this was the best, due to the professionalism, charm & attitude of all the staff. Beds are really, really comfy.
The food has also improved and our breakfasts & meal were delicious. Spa & pool great.
I particularly love the candles and the scent as you enter the hotel. At this time of year the roaring fires are lit early so we were tempted to sit in the bar all day! It means it all feels really relaxing & welcoming.
Very historical spot. The Staff were amazing. The Spa pools come as part of your stay - no nickel and dime add on cost like other places. The food was spectacular!! The Maitre'd, Horace was exceptional. Truly very good at his job. Will definitely be going again.
The location was excellent. The breakfast was brilliant value for money. We both eat more than we needed to!
