Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and really nice considerate touches like the dressing gowns, bathroom products, tea, coffee, fruit, cereal and snacks. Friendly host. I don’t normally book places that are adjoined to the host’s own house but it felt very private, I didn’t feel like we were imposing at all.

Perfect stay for a home away from home experience. All the little extra touches such as a fruit bowl were much appreciated!

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood yet also in walking distance to the city center. The one-room apartment has a small kitchen, ideal for preparing an English breakfast or a warm evening meal. Everything nicely decorated and in excellent condition - but judge for yourself from the pictures. Tunbridge Wells is a very nice town/city - with an almost Italian atmosphere, several cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities. Our host Jo was charming and helpful, and at the same time mindful regarding our privacy. The terrasse outside was the highlight for us - especially nice in the afternoon and evening. It is located in small piece of the garden (essentially a walled off private section) with a beautiful view on the blossoming Rhododendrons (in May). We spent the daytime visiting National Trust properties (gardens and houses) and being able to sit outside in the evening surrounded by Rhododendrons felt like a direct continuation of our National Trust visits. Highly recommended.

Lovely modern studio apartment with a small garden area, sunny between 3-5pm. We found prosecco, milk and bottled water in the fridge and some snacks in the kitchen cupboard. Everything we needed in the kitchen and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom as well as cotton buds and tissues. Self check in was very easy, Jo, the host, was lovely and introduced herself on the second day. We had private parking and loved the area very much.
