I was looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay near Edinburgh during a Christmas visit with friends and family. The Stables apartment turned out to be just what I was hoping for: a perfect bolt hole in a perfect, peaceful location with an an exceptionally lovely and helpful host.
Comfy bed, very clean, well equipped. Recommendation of "The Bridge" for food was welcomed and we had a lovely meal there.
Dannii was an absolutely wonderful host offering lots of suggestions for places to see and eat. A lovely lady and such a delight to talk to.
Beautiful stunning! The owners are so friendly and the rooms are beautiful. Everything is kept to a very high standard even the cleaning! We stayed in the "Green room" and just having a veiw over the golf course was icing on the cake. Knowing the owners take so much pride in what they have achieved too is commendable as the history of the building is fascinating too! I could not ask for a better place to stay.
Beautiful new modern facilities were very nice.
The owner was a delight.
Large comfortable rooms and a brilliant shower which was easy to use.
