We were only looking for a place to drop our stuff, room to have a shower and get ready before heading to the theatre which was only 18mins walk away and a place to rest our head. This ticked all our boxes. Bed very comfy, staff welcoming. Nice and clean. If you just want a place to put your head down and keep your belongings whilst you visit the many attractions in the city it's ideal. For the price we paid we got all we needed.
The room was huge. Great space for your money. The bathrooms were intelligently set up (toilet and shower were separate). The hotel is in a great location: close to sites, stores, a park and public transit.
The location is great right in Central London. Walkable to a few tube stations and tourist areas. Comfortable room and as a solo traveller I felt safe in the hotel and Location.
It's right near the British Museum, one of the coolest and most time-consuming free attractions in London to check out. Finally got to go through the whole thing thanks to staying at the Thanet.
Great location, it's an old building so it's not all sparkling but it's clean,, well maintained and the staff are very friendly. And because it's an old building the rooms have high ceilings and are light and airy.
