The staff was really great and the breakfasts were awesome. We were able to get into our room right when we arrived which was earlier than expected. It was really nice since we had been traveling overnight
Despite being connected with a pub and conveniently located next to a train station (and good restaurants within easy walking distance), the place was nice and quiet at night. The staff - reception, bar, cleaner - were all very friendly. Most of all, I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect! I hope I can visit again one day

I had breakfast onsite twice, and enjoyed it very much. The tasty pub food made for a pleasant lunch when I "stayed in." 98% of the hotel, pub and restaurant staff were really pleasant and welcoming. I ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was extraordinarily good. I slept really well in the comfortable bed. I would recommend The Alma, definitely.
