We have been to the Anchor each year on our way to a holiday cottage in Herefordshire so we knew that the location was lovely and the food excellent. Our Sunday evening roast dinner was excellent. The room was spacious and well furnished and the bathroom was clean and well appointed.
We were surprised that it was a do it yourself breakfast but everything was catered for.
Experiencing what I perceive as the quintessential British Pub/Inn. Nice room, good food, nice bar with lots of locals and a nice outside sitting area. Great staff.
