Wonderful, welcoming staff. Helped with our luggage. We enjoyed the surrounding area and the history. Meals were excellent

Room was on the top floor, so very steep steps, which was expected as it was explained will in the listing and after booking. Noisier neighborhood, but we like the lively areas. Food looked amazing, though we did not dine there. Shower and bathroom were very nice.
Very old building but well managed and maintained. Fantastic Italian restaurant within. View of Wells Cathedral from the bedroom window.
