Set in beautiful Suffolk countryside, this grade II 16th-century coaching Inn’s offers 11 rooms. With a flat-screen TV, free tea and coffee and a hairdryer, underfloor heating and air-conditioning each individually styled room also features elegant décor. Some rooms have original exposed beams, while all have a private bathroom. Please do get in touch if you have a specific room requirement. The Angel Inn, Stoke-by-Nayland provides seasonal lunch and dinner made with local produce. Monday to Thursdays we serve a continental breakfast. Friday to Sunday we serve a full breakfast. Monday to Wednesday we offer our Terrace Bar Menu. Thursday to Sunday we offer our Terrace Bar Menu & A la carte.

Beautiful room in old building, modern amenities. Very good food in restaurant and for breakfast.
I had a practical problem with my shoes and the owner helped me out.
This was an excellent overnight stay in very comfortable and spotlessly maintained surroundings. It wasn't cheap, but the quality of the service and the restaurant justified the expense. The ancient village inn had been completely refurbished in a charming and elegant style. The restaurant menu was a gastronomic treat - inventive and creative cooking in a stylish and intimate environment.
This was a lovely place. The staff were excellent. The restaurant was fabulous. We will return for sure.
Comfortable bed, good location. Cold meat and cheese platter, when requested off menu for breakfast, was excellent.
Lovely location with excellent walks , food and service was first class.
