This is a lovely family run place to stay. The room is well stocked with free treats including some rather tasty home made biscuits. The owners made us a freak cup of coffee when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The room was very comfortable.

The Barn has all the best qualities we seek in B&Bs, and exceeds even high expectations in all aspects. Our room was cosy, comfortable, and blissfully quiet. The bed was first-rate, and we slept very well there. The bathroom was spotless and had all the essentials. The breakfast was superb--tailored to exactly what each of us wanted. Karen and Adrian are incredibly gracious hosts, generous with their time, help, and good will. The location was within walking distance of two traditional, friendly pubs. It was great to have our own designated parking space. We wish all the places we stay would live up to the excellence of The Barn.
Just passing trough and needed an overnight stay but comfey and clean
Absolutely wonderful room. There was temperature control in the room, which was perfect coming back from a day at Leeds festival and needing to be warmed through. The selection of refreshments in the room was varied and fantastic. Bathroom modern, clean and relaxing. The bed was the best bed we've ever slept in out of every hotel or B&B we've used in the past. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, including allowing early check in, we also arrived back very late and everything was fine. I was visually exhausted in the morning, and didn't choose to have breakfast - in lieu of breakfast, the owner gave me some lucozade and painkillers, that kindness and personal touch absolutely made my day. They were needed!! My partner also said the bacon sandwich was the best he'd ever had and "this is the best place I've ever stayed".
