Exceptional food, great staff, room very comfortable with nice touches.
Great location. Food in the evening was exceptionally good. Breakfast was good too. Bus to/from Harrogate stops right outside. Good selection of beer & wine choices.
Enjoyable evening meal in the bar, comfortable bed, good breakfast served promptly, characterful building, free entry to Ripley Castle grounds included.
The unique village situation that is Ripley; the Boars Head, along with everything else in the village belongs to the Ripley Castle Estate.
The location has an upmarket vibe, yet the hotel is old style comfortable that focuses on customer satisfaction; the rooms are comfortable with an old style chic feel.
Spacious room and very welcoming team working there. The location is perfect for visiting the area and comes with the bonus of a great ice-cream shop opposite. The food was excellent and the gardens just a couple of hundred yards away make this the prefect place to stay for a night or two.
