The City Hotel is a lively hotel located in the heart of Dunfermline, just 328 feet from Pittencrieff Park. Built in 1775 the City Hotel has 32 rooms. They feature flat-screen TVs, WiFi access, trouser presses and tea/coffee making facilities. Weavers bar and restaurant has an extensive menu and offers a wide variety of dishes. Very good value; comfortable room, good bicycle parking.
Friendly staff, great restaurant and breakfast. Room was clean and the location perfect for our needs. We were staying there for our daughter's wedding (in a different venue) and the hotel staff were extremely good about helping us with an additional room to get ready.
The hotel was great, a bit confusing as we entered from the back of the hotel where the car park is but staff quickly directed us to the reception and we were booked in very quickly, we also asked for a hairdryer and iron and both items were brought to us within minutes, staff all very friendly, we had dinner in the bar which was lovely and good value as well
Room was comfy. Staff was helpful. Everything’s great.
Great value with complimentary breakfast. Staff is very helpful! People in Scotland are very kind.
