The grounds are beautiful. We were visiting friends from town with a flat too small to accommodate us, the staff was more than happy to open our bottle of wine for us, lend us glasses, and provide a water pitcher and glasses for us to sit out in the charming garden overlooking the river to spend time together. Everyone was so polite and generous.

Very comfortable. Great breakfast in lovely setting by the river.

This place I would describe as charming and cozy. Quaint. The room was small but very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was solid and the breakfast room was beautiful.

Staff's kindness and flexibility: we were late arriving from walking the Thames Path and I called ahead and they told us when the kitchen closed, and kept a table for us and upgraded us to a room which was more secluded to let us sleep soundly. We appreciated their kindness.

The location was so convenient. The room was good for ts price with a pleasant view. However, I must say that the staff were wonderful. And oh, really sumptuous breakfast.
