The property was very clean. I think it may have been newly painted. It was just the right size for our five night stay.
It is extremely convenient for the center of York and there is a Tesco opposite, open 6am to 11pm.
Lovely cosy cottage perfect for a couple, I only wish we could've stayed longer. Genuinely a perfect location for Christmas markets or just general exploration of the city. Came with everything we needed but there is a shop directly across the road just in case. Lovely outside garden area, and plenty of space inside, really felt like ours for the time we were there.
The location was great, the backyard actually backed up to the city wall! It only took us 5-10 minutes to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Plus, there was a Tesco right across the street. It really was like having a small apartment, very cozy with everything we needed. Arriving & departing were very simple, all instructions were sent before we arrived. We loved it & would definitely stay again!
Perfect location for touring York, with a Tesco right across the street and many restaurants in the immediate area. The patio at the base of the city wall was a welcome Zen relief from the crowds. The church chimes were a bonus.
