Located in the picturesque village of Falkland with the Lomond Hills as a backdrop, The Covenanter Hotel features an on-site coffee shop, restaurant and free private parking. Free Wi-Fi is also available, and a traditional carvery is on offer each weekend. An private bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at The Covenanter, as well as views over Falkland Square. Lunch and evening meals are provided in the on-site restaurant, and ingredients are locally sourced where possible. Homemade cakes are served in the coffee shop, where guests can relax with a tea or coffee. Pleasant walks and mountain biking can be enjoyed in Lomond Hills Regional Park, which the hotel lies on the edge of. A handful of small pubs and craft shops are located within Falkland village, as well as a golf course.

Staff were great and food was excellent (highly recommend the strawberries and ice cream for dessert!) a fun place to stay if you’re an Outlander fan.
The Covenanter Hotel is so quaint and right in the center of town. We stayed in the Queen room and it was super clean and seemed newly updated as the bathroom was fairly new. We were right across from the Falkland Palace and there are a few places to get breakfast and lunch near by. We also had a great dinner and breakfast at the hotel.
Centre of Town, great restaurant downstairs, amazing breakfast with loads of choices. The James room was very spacious and clean. Staff were lovely. Quick walk to Maspie Den trail. Wish we stayed 2 nights! Nice to see the Town at the end of the day without all the quick stop tour buses.
We stayed in the Queens room and it was amazing! The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful. We will be back!
EVERYTHING! This was my third over-all visit and my second time in the "Queens room! The room is wonderful, ESPECIALLY the delicious claw-foot tub in the middle. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is great. Because the room is away from the pub, it was wonderfully quiet, with a lovely view. Breakfast came with the room and was yummy AND filling. The staff this time went above and beyond. Falkland and the various stores in the area are just lovely.
