Amazing setting with a truly authentic feel and helpful staff
Everything was fantastic for a last-minute booking (We booked ten minutes prior to arriving). The location is amazing on the cliff overlooking the firth, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic (We recommend paying for breakfast along with your room. It is worth it!!)
If you're looking for a high end, five star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a quaint, authentic hotel with incredibly friendly staff, awesome view and conveniently located to St. Andrews, this is it. My wife and I love the ocean and ocean views, so to have a room with 2 windows staring out at the ocean and watching the tide go out was perfect. We would stay there again.
Location, lovely beach / shore for walks , very comfy well facilitated room. Food pretty good, we had a bit of dinner order mess up and the whole dinner cost was taken form the bill, an apology and a free drink would have been acceptable,
Quiet location , nice old pub next door .
Great breakfast
Not far from St Andrews and a much cheaper option if in Fife.
The view from the bedroom was exceptional and the sound of the waves at high tide was very relaxing. The food was very good and all the staff were very nice and friendly.
