Very good service and excellent food. Close to Gatwick Airport and transfer by taxi is easy. Would definitely stay there again.
We needed a stay close to Gatwick to fly out the next day, this ticked all the boxes, nice room, easy access to meals (both dinner and breakfast). Pretty quiet as rooms are away from the pub, we enjoyed our overnight stay.
Lovely place - so cute - staff are utterly amazing!!! If you get stranded at Gatwick - come here it’s 10 mins away and you won’t be disappointed. Food also lovely!
I did like the friendly atmosphere, the comfort of the room, the good food and the vicinity to LGW. As a Cabin Manager who lives in London and sometimes has to stay in the vicinity of the airport when the M25 is partially closed, being in the countryside but at only 12 mins from the North Terminal was fantastic. It is a pity that it is not possible to check out a bit later if the flight is in the afternoon. But I do understand that this accommodation is not in partnership with any airline. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!
The staff was wonderful! As were the meals! The steak pie last night with peas and mashed potatoes was delicious! This mornings, the Eggs Benedict surpassed my expectations. The room we were able to book at the last minute was perfect and so comfortable. A short ride with the help of the staff to secure a taxi to Gatwick airport in the morning was so helpful! We highly recommend The Curious Pig in the Parlour!
