Our room was superb. Upgraded to an enormous room with spectacular views. Not sure we have ever had a better room. Meals were excellent, Staff kind and helpful. Located centrally. Parking on site.
Location, friendly staff,clean room/facilities.
Our room was charming and comfortable with a large bed and tea/coffee/biscuits in the room provided. We were greeted warmly and taken care of by EVERY staff member we interacted with who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is right off the Ferry and we were able to walk or use public transportation to easily access everything we needed on Arran. I cannot state enough what a pleasant experience we had at the hotel! The included breakfast was also delicious and included amazing continental options as well as a hot order of food as well. All in all, we loved our experience at The Douglas!
Everything about this location exceeded our expectation. The staff was great and breakfast was the best.
Went out of their way to ensure we had a possible extra booking when the ferry was delayed
