The Dunes is located on the outskirts of Barrow in Furness, not far from the estuary. The hotel is quite modern and well appointed. Room was clean and comfortable, although I did struggle with the shower, which was very small. Good cooked breakfast, and passable coffee.
No complaints about the accommodation, although probably best to check ahead to see if there are any functions on first.
We traveled with the dog. Set up really well for dog owners.

Staff were very professional, attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the hotel was clean but basic rooms despite paying for an upgrade, Brekfast was lovely
