Amazing staff who were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Food was outstanding and the best home made burger we've ever had. Cooked breakfast was definitely one of the best. 5 * reviews all round

Great pub, including beer and food. Bonus for the in house bakery! Staff extremely helpful , our daughter has coeliac disease and they couldn't do enough to help us. The room was fine for what we needed. The double bed was comfortable. The pull out bed was a camp bed which my husband found very uncomfortable. The room has great storage and a fridge which had some lovely freebies which were welcomed. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before with plenty on offer, a must is the homemade croissants! The room could do with a welcome book/ sheet to give information ie WiFi passcode/evening meal menu etc. We would definitely return , incredible location, delicious food and beer . Highly recommended.

Lovely location , great food and quality with amazing bakery attached , quality breakfast, dog friendly. We stayed on a Saturday so booking for food recommended as quite busy.

This place is a delight! In the heart of the quiet and totally charming Dales village of Austwick, GameCock is an absolute gem! We stayed just one night but dinner, breakfast, room and staff were faultless. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and we can’t wait to come back! Oh, and the homemade patisserie cakes were stunning! Well done to Maree, Eric and the rest of the team!!
