Great location and reasonable price. Proprietor Nigel was super helpful, knowledgeable of the area, thoughtful, and friendly. Room was a bit on the cool side, but this is the middle of winter in a historic building, so to be expected. The pub next door served fantastic food too.

We had two single beds and they were very comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities were excellent. The gentleman, who I presume was the owner, was extremely helpful. Especially with parking

Lovely hosts and great location. Gypsy Moth pub next door which was perfect for a relaxing drink.

Location was excellent for walking to The Hoe and to restaurants. Friendly welcome and pet friendly :) Fresh towels, Tea/coffee supplied Parking availability - permit provided (at cost) for on-street bay, very close to guest house. Staff was very helpful.

On arrival at the George. Nigel was very welcoming he sorted out straight away a parking spot for our car, which we were very appreciative of and the price was excellent, right in front of his accommodation. Couldn't be better.
