Really friendly staff and a great, comfy little room with a lovely bed.
Great location and very cheap. Other guests have commented it's needs refurbishment and they are right but we personally liked the laid back style. Back of the pub is always open so just walk in to your room (which does have a lock). Gosforth is a very small village with a great sense of community so no issues.
Great location to go to the Wasdale valley which is only 6 miles away. The place is clean and has all you need for a short break. Great pizza place just opposite as well.
